I joined Bunzl Retail Supplies in October 2020. I was previously working as a class 1 driver moving livestock and “tramping” (long distance multi-night drives) which meant I was out multiple nights a week.
My role today at Bunzl Retail Supplies is as a Class 1 Driver. I complete the Trunking which is one of the most enjoyable jobs I’ve had, I really like how steady and structured my days are. Trunking is the movement of products from one Bunzl Retail Supplies location to another Bunzl Retail Supplies location ready for delivery by the local driver teams.
I like to help around the facility and have covered and supported other departments including the office and loading, we all join in as a team which makes for a nice work environment giving that family feeling from such a big company.
The size of the company also gives me great job security, which in this current climate is reassuring. I think Bunzl as an employer are generous, thoughtful and a company I’d recommend working for.
