I joined Bunzl Retail Supplies in April 2000. Previously I had worked in manufacturing as a Print Room Manager.
My role today is Operations Manager. It requires me to ensure that our Manchester Operation is running smoothly, calm is always the aim. It can be sometimes challenging but also rewarding when everything is going well.
When I originally started in Bunzl Retail Supplies I was responsible for what’s called De-stuffing Containers – palletising the products that are delivered usually from the Far East. Then I moved on to being an Order Picker, and then a Team Leader. I then moved on to become a Supervisor and then Shift Controller before my latest role as Operations Manager. Throughout my career I have always worked in Operations and I’ve been at Bunzl Retail Supplies for over 20 years.
