I joined Bunzl Retail Supplies in Summer 2017. I previously worked in another Bunzl Operating Company supporting retail customers on their luxury packaging requirements.
My role today is an Account Manager for a pan-European customer solution. I manage a customer in the UK for their UK and Ireland requirements and provide collaborative support to a sister company in Bunzl Germany to deliver an integrated customer solution for the UK, Ireland Germany, Austria, The Netherlands and Poland. It’s a varied role from managing new product requests to managing the existing catalogue of around 650 products. In any given day I can be managing large bag and drink allocations, contractual obligations, price changes, savings delivery and all other customer requirements and requests.
I started in Bunzl Retail Supplies by transferring from another Bunzl Operating Company into the role of Account Support Coordinator supporting our service solution for a new customer, a UK discount retailer. I was then promoted to the role of Account Executive looking after a department store chain’ and their requirements from the point of contract award, this was for a customer that was returning to Bunzl Retail Supplies. Then I progressed to the role of Senior Account Executive retaining the department store customer and assuming responsibility for an associated supermarket customer. This was before being promoted to my Account Manager role. I have always worked in a range of customer facing roles – all in the Bunzl Retail Supplies sales team. Previously I worked for Keenpac UK (a Bunzl Group company) as an Account Manager for retail businesses. My combined length of service is nearly 30 years having started in October 1994.
